Dr. Weintraub attended undergraduate (Bachelors in Animal Science) and veterinary school at UC Davis. While at school at Davis, she worked in the large animal clinic as an ICU and NICU technician.

Areas of interest: preventative care, emergency care especially colics, animal welfare, small ruminants especially goats, and organized veterinary medicine.

Her hobbies include: hiking, backpacking, skiing, rock climbing, and of course horseback riding.
