She attended veterinary school at the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, in the United Kingdom where she further developed her interest in equine practice and surgery.
Following graduation, she completed a rotating internship at the Equine Medical Center of Ocala in Florida where she was able to expand her skills and interest in the realm of lameness and surgery and was able to gain valuable experience with a high colic caseload prior to joining the Loomis Basin team at the North Coast Veterinary Hospital.
Outside of work, she enjoys biking, long distance running, backcountry backpacking, and a (newfound) interest in gardening in beautiful Humboldt County.
